FPSO Mayo Abo has proudly achieved over 8,300 Lost Time Injury (LTI)–free days and counting, a remarkable milestone accomplished despite the execution of rigorous, high-risk offshore activities and an average of 30 work permits issued daily. This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of STAC Marine to ensuring safety remains the cornerstone of all offshore operation and maintenance activities. At STAC Marine, work only proceeds when it is confirmed safe, and all identified risks have been reduced to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP).

Leadership Quote

“This milestone is not just a number—it represents thousands of individual decisions made every day to put safety first. Every team member has played a role by planning work thoroughly, following procedures, and looking out for one another. Safety is a shared responsibility, and this achievement proves what we can accomplish when we live our safety values consistently.”

Call to Action

Every one of us has both an obligation and a right to ensure jobs are executed safely. We must continue to exercise our Stop Work Authority whenever conditions become unsafe or unclear. This action may be the last and most critical barrier before an accident occurs. Let us remain vigilant, speak up without hesitation, and continue to protect ourselves, our colleagues, and our assets—because no job is so important that it cannot be done safely.
